What is measured, why, and how you stay in control.
What is collected
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may receive pages visited, referral source, approximate location, device and browser characteristics, and interactions such as scrolling, file downloads, and outbound-link clicks. This site does not send form text, email addresses, a user ID, or private owner-portal activity to Analytics.
Why it is used
The information helps assess which research, publication, and CV pages are useful; improve navigation and accessibility; and understand whether search-engine work helps people discover the scholarship. It is not used to sell data, target advertising, or build an advertising profile.
Your choice
Analytics is off until you choose “Allow analytics.” Declining stores only that preference in your browser and sends no Analytics request. You can reopen “Privacy choices” in the footer at any time. Revoking permission removes accessible Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page without the Analytics tag.
Cookies and retention
After consent, Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and a property-specific_ga_… cookie to distinguish visits. Event-level data is configured for 14-month retention without resetting that period on new activity; aggregate reporting may remain available longer. Browser controls can also delete or block cookies.
